EFIKASI DIRI HUBUNGAN MULTIKULTURAL PESERTA DIDIK SMA DAN MA DI KOTA LUBUKLINGGAU SUMATERA SELATAN
Cultural differences frequently encountered today can affect a person's self-confidence. This study aims to determine the level of self-efficacy in multicultural relationships of students and compare them based on the type of high school and gender in Lubuklinggau City, South Sumatra. Multicultural self-efficacy is defined as a student's belief in their ability to establish effective social relationships with individuals from different cultural backgrounds. This study used a quantitative approach with a comparative method. A sample of 364 students was randomly selected from four schools: SMA 1, SMA 5, MA 1, and MA 2 Lubuklinggau. The results of descriptive analysis showed that the majority of students (72.8%) had self-efficacy in the moderate category. Statistical tests (both parametric and non-parametric) showed that there was no significant difference in the level of multicultural self-efficacy between SMA and MA students, or between males and females. The conclusion of this study is that school type and gender are not the only factors that significantly influence self-efficacy in multicultural relationships. Keywords: Self-Efficacy, Multicultural, SMA, MA, Gender.
