This study aims to analyze the relationship between academic procrastination and students’ academic achievement in the Civic Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), Sriwijaya University during the odd semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. The research population consisted of 193 students, with a sample of 39 students selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected through documentation, observation, and a closed-ended questionnaire using a Likert scale comprising 43 items. The analysis results showed that most students (79%) were at a moderate level of academic procrastination. The Spearman correlation test produced a coefficient of 0.894 with a significance value of 0.000, indicating a very strong and statistically significant relationship. The linear regression test showed that the regression model was significant (F = 58.497; Sig. = 0.000), while the determination test showed an R value of 0.989. This indicates that 99% of the variance in academic achievement can be explained by academic procrastination. Thus, the higher the level of procrastination, the lower the students' academic performance. Overall, there is a strong and significant relationship between academic procrastination and academic achievement.
