One of problems often experienced by people with Diabetes Mellitus (DM) Sufferers is the difficulty in adequately understanding the principles of the 3J diet (type, quantity, and schedule of meals). This can lead to dietary errors that impact poor blood glucose control and the risk of complications. This study aims to develop a web-based GLUCOPLAN application as a dietary guide for DM Sufferers. The method used Research and development, and implementation. The study subjects were 20 people with DM in the Indralaya Public Health Center working area. The application’s feasibility was tested through validation by material and media experts, as well as through blackbox testing and usability testing. The results of the material expert validation showed a feasibility level with a percentage of 89.16% in the “Very Feasible” category, and the media expert validation showed a feasibility level with a percentage of 97.22%. The blackbox testing results showed that all application features functioned according to their designed functions. The usability testing results showed that in four aspects: usability (83.37%), ease of use (81.45%), ease of learning (82%), and user satisfaction (86.85%), the GLUCOPLAN application achieved a very feasible category with an average score of 83.42%. This research succeeded in developing a web-based GLUCOPLAN application that is not only easy to use but also able to improve users' understanding of the principles of the 3J diet. This development showed that interactive digital media such as GLUCOPLAN has the potential to be an effective educational tool in supporting self-management of Diabetes Mellitus sufferers, particularly in terms of regulating dietary patterns.
