PENGARUH PENAMBAHAN SINBIOTIK FERMENTASI KULIT NENAS DAN DAUN Indigofera zoolingeriana DALAM RANSUM TERHADAP PERSENTASE BOBOT ORGAN DALAM AYAM BROILER
Broiler productivity is strongly influenced by the quality of feed provided. Feed that contains complete and balanced nutrition is required to support optimal growth and production. Absorption of nutrients in feed requires good internal organ function to optimize the digestive process. Synbiotics are a combination of probiotics and prebiotics, one of which can be used is pineapple peel and indigofera leaves which are needed to help absorption in the digestive process. The effect of synbiotic supplementation of fermented pineapple peel and Indigofera zollingeriana leaves in broiler chickens on the percentage of internal organ weight. This study aims to examine the effect of the addition of synbiotics from pineapple peel and Indigofera zollingeriana leaves in the ration on the percentage of internal organ weight of broiler chickens. The effect of synbiotic supplementation of fermented pineapple peel and Indigofera zollingeriana leaves on broiler chickens on the percentage of internal organ weight. This research was conducted at the Poultry Experimental Stables, Department of Animal Husbandry Technology and Industry, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University and then continued at the Animal Nutrition and Food Laboratory from October to November 2024. The study was organized according to a completely randomized design with five treatments and four replications. The treatments given were basal ration (P0), basal ration with the addition of 0.5% synbiotic (P1), basal ration with the addition of 1% synbiotic (P2), basal ration with the addition of 1.5% synbiotic (P3), and basal ration with the addition of 2% synbiotic (P4). The research parameters observed were the weight of internal organs, including liver weight, proventriculus weight, bile weight, gizzard weight (gizzard), and pancreas weight and weighing which was then divided by live weight multiplied by 100%. The data obtained were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA), if there is a significant effect, further tests will be carried out using the Duncan Multiple Range Test (Steel and Torie, 1995). The results of the study showed that the treatment had no significant effect (P>0,5) on the percentage of liver weight, gizzard weight, proventriculus weight, bile weight and pancreas weight. The percentage of liver weight in this study ranged from 2.00% to 2.16%. Gizzard weight ranged from 2.02% to 2.04%. The proventriculus weight ranged from 0.50% to 0.53%. Bile weights ranged from 0.33% to 0.38%. Pancreas weight ranged from 0.24% to 0.26%. The conclusion of the study showed that the provision of synbiotics from fermented pineapple peel and Indigofera zollingeriana leaves up to a dose of 2% in the ration did not cause negative effects and achieved normal internal organ weights in broiler chickens.
