RANCANG BANGUN SISTEM KENDALI OTOMATIS MOLARITAS AIR TEH MENGGUNAKAN SENSOR LIGHT DEPENDENT RESISTOR (LDR) BERBASIS MIKROKONTROLER ESP32
Variability in tea beverage concentration due to manual preparation can lead to inconsistent product quality and reduced consumer satisfaction. This study presents the design of an automated system to measure and control tea molarity using a Light Dependent Resistor (LDR) sensor and an ESP32 microcontroller. The system consists of one pump dedicated to concentrated tea addition, one stirring motor for homogenizing the solution, and an I2C LCD for real-time display. Light intensity detected by the LDR is converted into voltage and processed through a nonlinear regression model to estimate molarity. The system compares the measured value to a predefined setpoint and activates the tea pump when the solution is too diluted. The stirring motor operates during each mixing cycle to ensure uniform distribution. Test results confirm that the system maintains molarity within the optimal range of 0.038 mol to 0.053 mol for both black and green tea. This automated approach enhances consistency in tea preparation while reducing the need for manual adjustments.
