ANALISIS FAKTOR YANG MEMENGARUHI KETERLIBATAN MASYARAKAT DI MEDIA SOSIAL PEMERINTAH (Studi Kasus Akun Instagram @diskominfo_muaraenim)
Instagram has become an effective platform for the government to deliver policy information, public services, and development programs directly and quickly to the public. One of the agencies utilizing this platform is the Department of Communication and Information (Diskominfo) of Muara Enim Regency. However, public engagement with the shared content remains relatively low, as indicated by limited interactions such as comments, likes, or the use of interactive features. Factors such as institutional trust, perceived content credibility, and individual motivation to seek information are believed to influence digital engagement. To explore this issue, this study involved 109 respondents who follow the Instagram account @diskominfo_muaraenim, with data analyzed using SmartPLS. The results showed that only Perceived Usefulness and Public Value Creation significantly influence citizen engagement, while other variables, Community Commitment, Community Ownership, Trust in Government, Subjective Norm, Perceived Behavioral Control, and Perceived Ease of Use did not have a significant effect.
