This study aims to analyze the influence of mandatory Scout education on the development of discipline character among eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 4 Palembang. The research employed a quantitative approach with a correlational research design. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling, with a total sample of 196 eighth-grade students. Data collection was conducted using questionnaires, and data were analyzed using Simple Linear Regression. The results showed that the majority of students were categorized as very active in participating in mandatory Scout education, with a percentage of 53.27%, while the level of student discipline fell into the disciplined category at 51.72%. The regression test results indicated a significant influence between mandatory Scout education and student discipline character, with a t-value of 11.221 and a significance level of < 0.001. This study provides insights into the implementation of mandatory Scout education in instilling the values of discipline, which should continue to be enhanced within the school environment.
