This report discusses the mechanism of fixed asset acquisition from Projects in Progress (PDP) in the transmission and substation projects carried out by PT PLN (Persero) Regional Development Unit of Southern Sumatra (UIP Sumbagsel). The acquisition process involves a series of stages starting from planning, construction, testing, to project handover and asset recognition into the company’s financial system. The primary objective of this report is to understand the flow of fixed asset acquisition from PDP until it becomes a fully operational fixed asset, as well as to examine how technical and administrative aspects are integrated and managed within PT PLN UIP Sumbagsel. The findings indicate that the process requires coordination across departments, document verification, asset location creation, and final entry into the SAP system. Through this mechanism, PLN ensures that the acquired assets meet the company’s technical and administrative standards and support reliable electricity distribution in the Southern Sumatra region.
