EVALUASI USER EXPERIENCE PADA WEBSITE DIGITAL LIBRARY UNIVERSITAS SRIWIJAYA MENGGUNAKAN METODE USER EXPERIENCE QUESTIONNAIRE (UEQ)
The development of information technology has driven the transformation of library services toward digital platforms, one of which is the Digital Library Universitas Sriwijaya website. This service is designed to provide fast, easy, and flexible access to academic resources. However, the success of digital services is not solely determined by the completeness of the content but also by the user experience (UX). This study aims to evaluate the user experience of the Digital Library Universitas Sriwijaya website using the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) method, which measures six aspects: attractiveness, perspicuity, efficiency, dependability, stimulation, and novelty. The research was conducted using a quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires to 98 respondents, all of whom are active students of Universitas Sriwijaya. The results show that the attractiveness aspect scored 1.73 (Good), perspicuity 1.55 (Above Average), efficiency 1.71 (Good), dependability 1.69 (Good), stimulation 1.32 (Above Average), and novelty 1.18 (Good). Based on these findings, the Digital Library Universitas Sriwijaya website provides a good user experience; however, there is still room for improvement, particularly in the aspects of novelty and stimulation, to make the website more innovative, interactive, and engaging. Recommended improvements include enhancing the visual design, simplifying navigation, optimizing technical performance, and adding innovative features. This evaluation is expected to serve as a strategic foundation for the further development of the Digital Library Universitas Sriwijaya website to better support academic activities.
