ANALISIS TRENPENELITIAN MAHASISWA PADA PROGRAMSTUDI PENDIDIKAN TEKNIKMESIN DI UNIVERSITAS SRIWIJAYA
This research aims to (1) analyze the number of thesis publication developments in Mechanical Engineering Education students, (2) analyze the form of the development map of thesis research for Mechanical Engineering Education students published in the Sriwijaya University repository based on keywords and using the help of Vosviewer software, and (3) analyze trend opportunities that are rarely researched. The method used in this study is descriptive quantitative. The data analysis is carried out by following a procedure where data is found by following the steps or stages of data collection, followed by data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions, which use bibliometric software such as mendeley, and vos viewer in order. The results of the study show that the development of the growth of thesis students of the Mechanical Engineering Education study program shows a decrease every year. Map of the development of thesis topic trends for students of the Mechanical Engineering Education Study Program at Sriwijaya University in the 2015-2021 batch includes development research and experimental research. Trends in research topics that are rarely researched in the 2015 cohort include keywords, skills, practice, and learning facilities. In the 2016 batch, the trend of research topics that are rarely researched includes the keyword HAZ, in the 2017 batch the trend of research topics that are rarely researched are HSS and GTAW steel. In the 2018 cohort, the rarely researched keyword was aquades, in the 2019 cohort, the research trend that was rarely researched included the keyword tobacco. In the 2020 batch, the trend of research topics that are rarely researched is ST 42 steel, while in the 2021 batch the trend of research topics that are rarely researched include the keywords of creative thinking.
