This study aims to analyze the effect of the price of dry harvested grain (GKP), harvested area, and rainfall on rice production on the island of Sumatra. The data used in this study are panel data from four provinces, namely South Sumatra, North Sumatra, West Sumatra, and Lampung for the period 2018–2023. The analysis technique used is panel data regression analysis using the Fixed Effect Model (FEM) approach along with the results of individual analysis in the four provinces. The results of the study indicate that the price of dry harvested grain and harvested area have a positive effect. Rainfall is negative and insignificant on rice production in the four provinces of Sumatra in 2018–2023.
