The 2024 Presidential Inauguration in Indonesia marks an important moment in the national political dynamics, where the president's political communication strategy plays a role in shaping public opinion and gaining support for their leadership. In this context, the inauguration speech not only serves as the official statement of the new government but also as a tool to build legitimacy and identification with the people. This study aims to analyze the dramatic elements in Prabowo Subianto's inauguration speech through Kenneth Burke's pentad approach. The research uses a qualitative analysis method with a pentadic approach, which includes five key elements: agent, act, scene, agency, and purpose, as well as the concepts of identification, guilt, and redemption. The analysis results show that the agency–purpose element dominates, highlighting how Prabowo delivers his message as the primary tool to achieve his goal of being a legitimate leader and a symbol of national unity. Body gestures, intonation, and nationalism symbolism are used to reinforce the message of authority and leadership stability. The conclusion of this study shows that Prabowo's inauguration speech aims not only to convey his government's vision and mission but also to shape an image of a solution-oriented leadership and gain political legitimacy. The rhetorical strategies used strengthen identification with the people and build public trust in his government.
