STRATEGI KOMUNITAS SOBAT EKSPLORASI ANAK DALAM (SEAD) DALAM MELAKUKAN PEMBERDAYAAN PENDIDIKAN PADA SUKU ANAK DALAM DI DESA SKALADI KABUPATEN MUARO JAMBI
This study focuses on the empowerment strategy carried out by the Jambi Children's Exploration Friend (SEAD) community towards the Anak Dalam tribe in Skaladi Village, Muaro Jambi Regency. The main focus of the SEAD community empowerment activities is children in Skaladi Village. The condition of the Anak Dalam tribe in Skaladi Village is quite concerning where most of the Anak Dalam tribe members are still illiterate, so that the Anak Dalam tribe often experiences criminal acts in the form of fraud and robbery by irresponsible individuals. The existence of educational empowerment for the Anak Dalam tribe in Skaladi Village is expected to help them increase their potential and get a better quality of life in the future. The purpose of this study is to understand and analyze the forms, supporting and inhibiting factors and strategies carried out by the SEAD community in carrying out educational empowerment for the Anak Dalam tribe. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a case study research strategy. The strategy was analyzed using the empowerment strategy theory by Jim Ife. Data was obtained through interviews, observations and documentation. The results of this study are the forms of empowerment education carried out including reading, writing and arithmetic, education equalization and the dream sheet program. Supporting factors include communication and resources in the form of funds, and inhibiting factors are the busyness of volunteers. Furthermore, SEAD's strategy in empowering includes recruiting volunteers with educational backgrounds, volunteer training, implementing the concept of learning while playing with natural media, conducting evaluations and social campaigns.
