PERAN NEED TO BELONG TERHADAP FEAR OF MISSING OUT (FOMO) PADA PENGGUNA TIKTOK
This study aims to examine the role of the need to belong in predicting the fear of missing out (FoMO) among TikTok users. The proposed hypothesis posits that the need to belong significantly influences fear of missing out (FoMO) in this population. A total of 208 TikTok users aged 18 to 25 years and used TikTok everyday in Indonesia were recruited through purposive sampling. Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) was measured using a psychological scale developed by the researchers based on the aspects outlined by Przybylski, Murayama, DeHaan, & Gladwell (2013), while the Need to Belong was assessed via aspect adapted from Baumeister & Leary (1995).
