ANALISIS KEPUASAN PASIEN RAWAT INAP DI RSUP DR. RIVAI ABDULLAH BANYUASIN BERDASARKAN METODE HOSPITAL CONSUMER ASSESSMENT HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS AND SYSTEM (HCAHPS)
The Hospital Consumer Assessment Healthcare Providers and System (HCAHPS) is an instrument with 21 questions to measure patient satisfaction according to the patient's experience in the hospital. In 2022, the Bed Occupancy Ratio (BOR) and Turn Over Interval (TOI) values at Dr. Rivai Abdullah Banyuasin General Hospital decreased, indicating low inpatient visits. The purpose of this study was to analyze the level of satisfaction of inpatients at Dr. Rivai Abdullah Banyuasin General Hospital based on the HCAHPS method. The sample of this study was 142 inpatients according to the inclusion criteria. Data were analyzed using univariate analysis. The results showed that the level of satisfaction of inpatients was 53.5%; half of the respondents were satisfied based on the HCAHPS survey. The proportion of patient satisfaction obtained in the dimensions of doctor communication (80.3%), nurse communication (67.6%), hospital environment (62%), responsive attitude of hospital medical staff (64.1%), pain control (52.1%), communication about medication (57.7%), and discharge information (64.1%). This finding indicates that half of the respondents reported being satisfied, which presents a challenge for hospitals to enhance services that prioritize patient needs, provide alternative medical personnel, improve communication with patients, and manage visits more effectively.
