IMPLEMENTASI KEBIJAKAN KELAS RAWAT INAP STANDAR DI RSUP DR. RIVAI ABDULLAH BANYUASIN DALAM MEMENUHI SARANA DAN PRASARANA
The standard inpatient class policy aims to ensure equality of health services, including standards for inpatient room facilities and infrastructure. Based on data from the Indonesian Ministry of Health in 2024, Dr. Rivai Abdullah Hospital has not met all 12 standard criteria. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of the standard inpatient class policy in fulfilling facilities and infrastructure, and to identify the obstacles faced. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach conducted at Dr. Rivai Abdullah Hospital. Data collection techniques were conducted through in-depth interviews, observation, and document review. The determination of informants was carried out by purposive sampling with a total of 10 informants, namely the director of supporting and medical services, the nursing service work team, the head of the inpatient service section, 2 health workers, and 5 patients. Data validity was tested through triangulation of sources, methods, and data. Data were analyzed using content analysis. The results showed that 10 out of 12 criteria had been met, namely criteria for building components, air ventilation, room lighting, completeness of beds, nightstands, temperature humidity, division of treatment rooms, density of treatment rooms, indoor bathrooms, and oxygen outlets. While the criteria related to curtains and bathroom accessibility standards have not been met. Some of the obstacles found include the condition of open windows without settings that can affect the effectiveness of air ventilation in the treatment room, an increase in the number of patient visits which has an impact on the division and density of space, curtains that are still corroded, and the lack of handrails in the accessibility standard bathroom. This finding shows that most of the criteria for inpatient rooms have been met, but there are still obstacles faced so that hospitals can make adjustments to the criteria by increasing regular monitoring carried out on 12 criteria based on the KRIS standard checklist.
