PENGARUH BEBAN KERJA FISIK TERHADAP STRES KERJA PADA GURU SD KECAMATAN RANTAU PANJANG KABUPATEN OGAN ILIR
Indonesia ranks third with a high level of work stres at 73%. This is due to the high number of workers in Indonesia, which totals 122.4 million. According to a survey conducted by the Indonesian Teacher Association in 2023, over 70% of teachers in Indonesia reported experiencing high levels of stres due to excessive workloads. Factors that influence work stres include individual characteristics as well as physical workload, in addition to heavy administrative demands such as preparing Lesson Plans (RPP), reporting learning achievements, and evaluating learning outcomes. The type of research is quantitative, conducted through observation and interviews with a cross-sectional approach, using total sampling technique with 98 respondents. The measuring tools used were questionnaires and Pulse Oximeters. The data were analyzed both univariately and bivariately. The bivariate results showed a significant relationship between age (p=0.009), marital status (p=0.000), employment status (p=0.000), with teacher work stres. It can be concluded that the main risk factor for work stress is age, which is also influenced by marital status and employment status. Recommendations include the arrangement of an efficient work schedule, enhancement of social and institutional support among colleagues, application of positive coping strategies, ensuring adequate rest, providing stres management training, and conducting regular evaluations of workload.
