This study aims to develop an inventory model for pharmaceutical goods that
deteriorate or decline in quality over time, taking into account quadratic demand
and quadratic storage rates. The model takes into account permissible shortages and
complete backlogging, and assumes that the deterioration rate is constant. The
model is mathematically structured and numerically solved using Symbolab
software. Based on the calculations, an optimal solution was obtained with a zero
inventory
