PENGEMBANGAN VIDEO EDUKASI MENGGUNAKAN MULTIMEDIA INTERAKTIF TENTANG PENGELOLAAN SAMPAH RUMAH TANGGA DESA KETIAU
ABSTRAK Permasalahan sampah rumah tangga masih menjadi isu utama yang perlu segera ditangani di Desa Ketiau, Kecamatan Lubuk Keliat, Kabupaten Ogan Ilir. Rendahnya kesadaran masyarakat dalam memilah dan mengelola sampah serta belum tersedianya media edukasi yang tepat menjadi kendala utama dalam upaya pengelolaan lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sebuah video edukatif berbasis multimedia interaktif yang dirancang khusus untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu rumah tangga mengenai pengelolaan sampah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan pendekatan model pengembangan ADDIE yang terdiri dari lima tahap, yaitu: analisis, perancangan, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Subjek penelitian mencakup para ahli di bidang materi dan media, serta melibatkan 32 warga Desa Ketiau melalui uji coba individual, kelompok kecil, dan tes efektivitas. Berdasarkan hasil validasi, media yang dikembangkan tergolong sangat valid dan sangat praktis, serta terbukti efektif meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat dengan nilai N-Gain sebesar 77,02%. Temuan ini membuktikan bahwa media video edukasi yang dikembangkan layak dimanfaatkan sebagai sarana pembelajaran dan pemberdayaan masyarakat dalam mewujudkan lingkungan yang sehat dan bersih. The low level of public awareness regarding waste sorting and management, along with the absence of appropriate educational media, serves as the main obstacle in environmental management efforts. This study aims to develop an interactive multimedia-based educational video specifically designed to enhance the knowledge of housewives about proper waste management. The research adopts a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE development model, which consists of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The subjects of this study include material and media experts, as well as 32 residents of Ketiau Village who participated through individual trials, small group trials, and effectiveness testing. Based on validation results, the developed media was categorized as highly valid and highly practical, and it was proven to be effective in improving community understanding, with an N-Gain score of 77.02%. These findings demonstrate that the developed educational video is feasible to be used as a learning tool and a means of community empowerment in creating a cleaner and healthier environment.
