The international forum that facilitates cooperation in the field of space is the United Nations Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space (UNCOPUOS), which is responsible for developing international cooperation in the use of outer space for peaceful purposes. poses. Since 1976, Indonesia has actively participated in various activities organized by this body. This study aims to analyse Indonesia's space diplomacy strategy in UNCOPUOS, focusing on the aspects of communication, persuasion, and bargaining within this international forum. The research method used in this study is descriptive qualitative research, which aims to describe and understand the perceptions and actions of Indonesia in space diplomacy. The results of the study show that Indonesia's communication in the UNCOPUOS forum is considered effective and impactful. Transparent communication has successfully strengthened relationships with member states of UNCOPUOS. In terms of persuasion, although Indonesia's intervention at the 62nd LSC meeting has not resulted in specific resolutions, Indonesia successfully influenced the global perspective on small satellites by emphasizing the perspective of developing countries and positioning them as strategic tools for development. Furthermore, through APRSAF-29, Indonesia applied a bargaining approach to achieve mutually beneficial results, strengthening its position as a bridge between developed and developing countries, as well as supporting capacity building, technology transfer, and research collaboration in the context of international cooperation.
