ANALISIS KELAYAKAN FINANSIAL USAHA TAHU BETI DI KELURAHAN BUKIT LAMA KECAMATAN ILIR BARAT I KOTA PALEMBANG
Beti Tofu Business in Bukit Lama Village, Ilir Barat I District, Palembang City is a medium-scale tofu production business where part of its tofu production is sold in traditional markets in Palembang City and traditional markets outside Palembang City. The objectives of this research are: (1) to describe the general conditions and production process activities of the tofu business in Bukit Lama Village, Ilir Barat I District, Palembang City; (2) to analyze the financial feasibility level of Beti tofu business in Bukit Lama Village, Ilir Barat I District, Palembang City; (3) to determine the sensitivity of Beti Tofu Business in Bukit Lama Village, Ilir Barat I District, Palembang City. This research was conducted at Beti tofu business. The location determination was done purposively (Purposive Sampling) with the consideration that the location is a place for conducting tofu production business with a fairly large scale in Palembang City. The research method used in this study is a case study. The data used in this research consists of primary data and secondary data. The results of this research show that: (1) The tofu production activities carried out by Beti Tofu business have been running in accordance with good food processing theory principles. The production process starts from selecting the main raw material in the form of high-quality soybeans, which becomes an important factor in determining the final result of tofu. (2) Based on the results of financial feasibility analysis, Beti tofu business is feasible to operate where the feasibility analysis was conducted to predict a 5-year period ahead starting from 2024-2029, obtaining NPV value of Rp 291.419.054, IRR 12%, Gross B/C 1.04, Net B/C 1.18, Payback Period of 3 years 5 months. (3) Based on sensitivity analysis of possible scenarios with the assumption of production decrease of 3.5%, NPV obtained was Rp 27,733,345, IRR 10%, Gross B/C 1.003, Net B/C 1.01, Payback Period 4 years 1 month, and production cost increase of 6%, NPV obtained was Rp 20,879,857, IRR 9%, Gross B/C 1.002, Net B/C 1.01, Payback Period 4 years 1 month. Beti tofu business is still considered feasible to operate.
