Curly red chili is one of the horticultural commodities with high economic value and increasing market demand, making efficiency in its cultivation an important aspect to analyze, especially based on the land scale owned by farmers. The purposes of this search were (1) calculating the income differences of curly red chili farming between small and medium land area categories in Pedu Village, Jejawi Subdistrict, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency, (2) analyzing the factors affecting the production of curly red chili farming between small and medium land areas in Pedu Village, Jejawi Subdistrict, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency, and (3) analyzing the efficiency of production factors in curly red chili farming based on small and medium land areas in Pedu Village, Jejawi Subdistrict, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. The research method was a survey method with purposive sampling of 60 respondents. The research was conducted in Pedu Village, Jejawi Subdistrict, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency in November 2024. The data used were primary and secondary data. The results of this study were (1) the average total income obtained by small scale curly red chili farmers in Pedu Village was Rp Rp722.508.617/ha/planting season, while for medium-scale farmers it was Rp Rp815.935.532/ha/planting season, (2) in small scale farms labor, land area and pesticides significantly affected production. In medium scale farms, seeds, labor and pesticides significantly affeted production of curly red chili in Pedu Village, (3) small scale farms has not yet achieved efficiency in any of the production factors, while for farmers on medium-scale farms are efficient in the use of labor and pesticides.
