PREPARASI, KARAKTERISASI, DAN UJI KINERJA KATALIS NIS/SIO2-AL2O3 TEMPLATE PORI KH-FTALAT UNTUK HYDROCRACKING CPO MENJADI BIOFUEL
The preparation of NiS/SiO2-Al2O3 catalyst template KH-Phthalate was carried out by adding anhydrous nickel metal into the catalyst supported by SiO2-Al2O3 template KH-Phthalate by impregnation, then the calcination process was carried out for 4 hours at a temperature of 700ºC. Furthermore, the sulfidation process used ammonium sulfide gas for 2 hours at a temperature of 500ºC. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of NiS/SiO2-Al2O3 catalyst template KH-Phthalate on the efficiency and productivity of the CPO hydrocracking process and to analyze the differences in characterization parameters between NiS/SiO2-Al2O3 catalyst template KH-Phthalate and SiO2-Al2O3 template KH-Phthalate. Catalyst characterization was carried out by analyzing using PSA, XRD, XRF, SAA. Analysis of hydrocracking products was carried out using GC-MS. Based on XRD data, NiO peaks were detected at 2θ angles of 37º, 43 º, 62º, and 75º which can be identified by JCPDS 47-1049 data. The NiS peaks appeared at 2θ angles of 30º, 34º, and 53º according to JCPDS 75-0613 data. XRF data also confirmed the presence of this element in the NiS catalyst of 0.61%. SAA characterization showed that the NiS/SiO2-Al2O3 template KH-Phthalate catalyst had a surface area of 29.60 m2/g, a pore volume of 0.01 cm3/g and a pore diameter of 255.898 Å. Based on the results of GC-MS analysis, the NiS/SiO2-Al2O3 catalyst template KH-Phthalate showed the highest catalytic activity with a selectivity of the biogasoline fraction of 62.70% at a temperature of 350ºC
