RANCANG BANGUN SISTEM PEREKAM DETAK JANTUNG DAN SATURASI OKSIGEN MENGGUNAKAN PLATFORM NODE RED
Health is a vital aspect of human life, particularly in monitoring heart rate and blood oxygen saturation (SpO₂), which serve as key physiological indicators. A heart rate below the normal range (bradycardia) and low oxygen saturation (hypoxemia) can lead to serious health complications. Therefore, an effective and accessible monitoring system is essential. This research aims to design and develop a heart rate and oxygen saturation recording system based on the Internet of Things (IoT) using the MAX30102 sensor integrated with an ESP32 microcontroller and the Node-RED platform. The system is capable of measuring, transmitting, and displaying BPM and SpO₂ data in real-time via an interactive dashboard. Testing conducted on 15 users showed that the system provides reliable performance, with an average error rate of 5.3% for heart rate and 0.97% for oxygen saturation when compared to a standard oximeter. Thus, this system can serve as an alternative solution for practical and efficient remote health monitoring.
