TWEAKING HARDWARE KOMPUTER UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KECEPATAN DAN STABILITAS PENGGUNAAN SOFTWARE KOMPUTER
As computing needs increase in various fields, computer system performance and stability become important factors in supporting optimal software usage. This research explores hardware tweaking methods - specifically overclocking and component optimisation - to improve computer speed and stability. The main focus of the research is the modification of RAM from 8 GB to 16 GB as well as CPU and GPU overclocking, with the support of cooling system upgrades. Testing was done experimentally using benchmark software such as 3DMark and gaming applications such as Valorant, FiveM, and Roblox. Results show an increase in 3DMark score from 4567 to 5426 (+18.81%), with significant improvements in the Writing Score (+14.26%) and Productivity (+8.75%) categories. In terms of graphics, Frame Rate, Ray Tracing increased from 56.77 FPS to 141.63 FPS (+149.48%), Shop Animate 3D Object increased from 98.93 to 148.67 FPS (+49.74), In game testing Valorant increased from 130 to 200 FPS (+53.84%), FiveM from 73 to 110 FPS (+50.68%), and Roblox from 60 to 160 FPS (+166.66%). VRAM usage also experienced efficiency, going from 2.7/8.3 GB before tweaking to 1.8/7.3 GB after tweaking. The system remained stable during the stress test without overheating or crashing, with the GPU temperature staying below 80°C in Figure 4.3. These findings show that hardware tweaking, if done carefully, can effectively and safely improve performance, efficiency, and performance.
