The rapidly growing Korean Wave phenomenon in Indonesian fosters emotional bonds between idols and their fans. This study analyzes how the features within the Weverse application facilitate the formation of emotional relationships between K-Pop idols and fans, even in the absence of direct two-way interaction. Employing a qualitative approach and the netnography method, this research refers to Gayle Stever’s (2013) parasocial interaction theory, examining three main aspects : task attraction, identification attraction and romantic attraction. The results demonstrate that the Weverse application plays a crucial role in facilitating a space for fans to feel closer to Enhypen through various content and interactions. Talent attraction, lifestyle identification and romantic relationship fantasies are instrumental in fostering strong loyalty. Sepsite its one-way nature, this parasocial interaction has a significant psychological impact on fans and promotes active media consumption. This research indicates that such interaction strengthens the bond between the K-Pop idol group Enhypen and Engene in digital media.
