PENGEMBANGAN PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE MESIN FRAIS UNIVERSAL BERBASIS APLIKASI APPSHEET DI LABORATORIUM PENDIDIKAN TEKNIK MESIN
This study aims to describe the feasibility and practicality of preventive maintenance for universal milling machines based on the Appsheet application in the Mechanical Engineering Education Laboratory. The type of research is research and development (R&D), using the 4D model: Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The product was tested on subject lecturers, the head of the laboratory, and students of Mechanical Engineering Education at Sriwijaya University. The test subjects included 1 material expert and 1 media expert. The one-to-one trial involved 3 participants, the Small group trial involved 9 participants, and the field test involved 21 participants. Data collection techniques included material and media expert evaluation sheets and questionnaires for the subject lecturer, laboratory head, and students. The results of the material expert evaluation showed a score of 91%, classified as “Very Valid”. The media expert evaluation resulted in a score of 84%, also classified as “Very Valid”. Feasibility was obtained from the one-to-one trial with a score of 89%, indicating that the product is “Highly Feasible” for use. The Small group trial yielded a score of 86%, and the field test resulted in a score of 93%, with all trial results showing that the product is “Highly Practical” for use. The Appsheet-based learning media for preventive maintenance of universal milling machines in the Mechanical Engineering Education Laboratory is highly feasible and highly practical to use.
