Information technology has been widely used in the current era, one of which is in the government era. Especially in the Regional Inspectorate of South Sumatra Province which has adopted technology in work. This study aims to determine the role of information technology in the process of implementing the Monitoring program for follow-up on supervision results at the Regional Inspectorate of South Sumatra Province in 2023. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. The theory used in this study consists of Perceived usefulness and Perceived ease of use. The results showed that the role of information technology can facilitate work and increase the effectiveness of the work of members of Monitoring the follow-up of supervision results in following up the results of external and internal supervision through the use of the E AUDITEE and SIWASIAT applications, although there are several obstacles in it. Such as problems where updating monitoring results takes a long time, obstacles in logging in to the application. But this is not a shortcoming of the performance of members of the Monitoring of Follow-up of Supervision Results. For the cooperation of members of the Monitoring of Follow-up of Supervision Results with BPKP, there is no special application made to facilitate work, so the cooperation of members of the Monitoring of Follow-up of Supervision Results with BPKP is still manual.
