SIMULASI DAN ANALISIS METODE INTEGRATED PIT STOP UNTUK MEMINIMALISIR ABNORMAL CYCLE MENGGUNAKAN SOFTWARE HAULSIM 3.6 DI PIT MTBU PT PAMAPERSADA NUSANTARA
Abnormal cycles refer to periods when mining operations are disrupted or temporarily halted for maintenance, refueling, or other time-consuming activities. The integrated pit stop method emerges as a potential solution to address abnormal cycle issues. This study aims to investigate and analyze the integrated pit stop method during rest periods at coal mining sites using the Haulsim 3.6 simulation software. The simulation model depicts the actual conditions of hauler activities in open-pit mines. Based on the simulation results, significant differences are observed between the integrated pit stop and non-integrated pit stop schemes, particularly in cycle time. The integrated pit stop method exhibits a longer average cycle time (20.58 minutes) compared to the non-integrated pit stop (19.10 minutes). The non-integrated pit stop method results in a waste production of 154,631 BCM/day, with coal production of 44,600 tons/day. The average loader utilization is 71-73%, while the hauler utilization averages 84-86%. Conversely, the integrated pit stop method shows a waste production of 163,452 BCM/day, with coal production of 47,776 tons/day. The average loader utilization is 75-78%, while the hauler utilization averages 83-85%.
