The data from GLOBOCAN (2020) show an increase in adult cancer cases in Indonesia to 141,1 per 100.000 population, with mortality rate of 85,1 per 100.000 population. Nevertheless, as South Sumatera National Referral, Palembang still don’t have hospice care service to treat terminal cancer patients. Meanwhile, nearly all of the cancer patients appear with terminal condition due to economic factor and lack of knowledge and awareness about cancer. This hospice care is designed to accommodate peaceful life for terminal cancer patients at the end of their lives. The design used behavioral architecture as a main concept. This concept dependent on the design problem of hospice care related with mass customization to provide emphatetic care and accessible design for patients. Behavioral architecture is considered as a fitting design to overcome the challenges.
