Transparency is an action taken by the government to provide convenience to the public in accessing information. In this case, BUMDes must also be transparent in processing village businesses properly in providing information on BUMDES performance that is beneficial to the village community. This study aims to look at the application of transparency in the management of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) in Babatan Saudagar Village, Pemulutan District, Ogan Ilir Regency. This type of research uses qualitative methods with data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. This study uses Mardiasmo’s transparency theory with informative dimensions, namely timely, adequate, clear, accurate, comparable, and easily accessible. Furthermore, the disclosure dimension is the financial condition, organizational structure, and the form of planning and results of activities. The results of this study indicate that BUMDes in Babatan Saudagar Village have not implemented transparency in the management of Village-Owned Enterprises, this is due to the informative dimension where timeliness in the supervision stage, namely reporting that has not been fulfilled, making reports that are still simple, reports that are not clear, financial reports that cannot be compared, and there is no means for the public to receive information. Furthermore, in the disclosure dimension, where financial conditions do not meet standards so that they do not show the overall financial condition and the form of planning and results of activities has not been carried out during the period or per semester.
