KUALITAS FISIK SILASE RUMPUT BENTO RAYAP DENGAN PENAMBAHAN AKTIVATOR MOL BONGGOL PISANG
This research aims to study the effect of the addition of banana pomace MOL activator on the physical quality of termite bento grass silage. This research was conducted from October to November 2024 at the Animal Nutrition and Food Laboratory of the Animal Husbandry Technology and Industry Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University. This method uses a completely randomized design (CRD), which consists of 4 treatments and 4 replicates. Each treatment P0: Leersia hexandra (control), P1: Leersia hexandra + 3% banana stump MOL, P2: Leersia hexandra + 6% banana stump MOL, P3: Leersia hexandra + 9% banana pomace MOL. The variables observed were physical quality such as color, aroma, texture and the presence of fungi. The data obtained were processed and analyzed using the Kruskal Wallis test to see the effect of treatment on each parameter observed. The results showed that the treatment had no significant effect (P>0.05) on color, aroma, texture and presence of mold. The conclusion of this study is that the addition of MOL activator banana pith on Leersia hexandra cannot improve the physical quality of silage. However, physical quality values such as color, aroma, texture, and presence of fungi have a positive average value. Keywords: Leersia hexandra, Local Microorganism of Banana Weevil, Silage
