ANALISIS KANDUNGAN LOGAM BERAT TIMBAL (Pb) DI LAPIS OLAH TANAH ANDISOL TANAMAN TEH (Camellia sinensis L.) PADA PTPN VII UNIT PAGAR ALAM, SUMATERA SELATAN
One of the factors of Andisol soil pollution in tea plantations is the presence of heavy metals (Pb) in the soil. Lead is one type of heavy metal that is not needed by plants because it can disrupt the nutrient cycle in the soil. The purpose ofthis study was to determine the content of heavy metal lead contained in Andisol soil and some soil chemical properties. This research was conducted in July - November 2023 located at PT Perkebunan Nusantara VII Unit Pagar Alam with the research method using a detailed survey method at a scale of 1: 40,000. The Tea Plantation that was researched was 86,286 Ha which was divided into 4 Afdeling. Determination of sampling points using the Stratified Sampling method is divided based on 4 ranges of plant age consisting of 5-15 years, 15-25 years, 25-35 years, 35-45 years and divided into 12 locations with 3 replicates. Each location consisted of 5 drilling points with a depth of 0-30 cm and the samples were composited. The analysis results showed that the average heavy metal content of lead in Andisol soil ranged from 0.289 mg/kg-1 to 0.580 mg/kg-1 with an average concentration of 0.51 mg/kg-1. In conclusion, the results of heavy metal lead (Pb) content in Andisol soil at PT Perkebunan Nusantara VII Pagar Alam Unit are still below the threshold and tea is safe for consumption.
