PERAN REGULASI EMOSI TERHADAP SOCIAL MEDIA FATIGUE PADA MAHASISWA PENGGUNA SOSIAL MEDIA
This study aims to determine the role of emotion regulation on social media fatigue in students who use social media. The hypothesis in this study is that there is a role of emotion regulation on social media fatigue. The population of this study were students aged 18 to 24 years who had at least 2 social media and actively used at least 7 hours a day. The participants involved totaled 319 people and 95 people for testing, which were taken using purposive sampling technique. The measuring instrument used refers to aspects of emotion regulation based on Gross and Thompson's (2007) theory with a reliability value of 0.918, and social media fatigue based on aspects of Zhang, Shen, Xin, Sun, Wang, Zhang, and Ren (2021) with a reliability value of 0.947.
