HUBUNGAN SELF CARE MANAGEMENT DENGAN TINGKAT KECEMASAN PADA PENDERITA HIPERTENSI
Uncontrolled hypertension, accompanied by anxiety among hypertensive patients, can worsen the hypertension and increase the risk of complications. While poor self-care management, such as not routinely taking medication and monitoring blood pressure, can hinder hypertension control. Proper self-care management is very important for managing hypertension, preventing and reducing anxiety, and preventing further complications. The objective of this study is to reveal the relationship between self-care management and anxiety levels among hypertensive patients in the working area of the Sako's Primary Health Center in Palembang City. This study is a quantitative study with a cross-sectional design. A sample size of 60 respondents was selected using the nonprobability sampling method with a purposive sampling technique. Data analysis was carried out using Spearman's rank correlation statistical test.
