Public knowledge regarding Basic Life Support (BLS), especially among high school students, remains relatively low. Therefore, educational efforts regarding BLS need to be conducted towards high school students, so that they understand the steps for handling cardiac arrest victims. One effective alternative in conveying information about BLS is health education using flipchart media. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of flipchart media on BLS knowledge among members of Red Cross Youth. This is a quantitative study with a pre-experimental design, particularly a one group pretest - posttest design. The sample consisted of 60 respondents selected through total sampling. The results of the univariate analysis showed that most of the respondents (56.7%) were 16 years old, most of them (55.0%) were in grade 10, the majority were female (71.7%), and all respondents had not received any information and experiences in conducting BLS. The results of the statistical test using the Paired t-test showed that the mean score of respondents' knowledge in the pre-test was 14.47 (SD 1.599: CI 95%) and their mean score in the post-test was 18.37 (SD 1.314: CI 95%), indicating an increase of 3.900 and a p-value of 0.001
