EVALUASI WAKTU DAN BIAYA DENGAN METODE EARNED VALUE MANAGEMENT (EVM) PADA PROYEK PEMBANGUNAN LATTICE TOWER
This research aims to evaluate project performance in terms of cost and time using the Earned Value Management (EVM) method on a high-complexity construction project: the Phase III development of the Lattice Tower Lightning System, involving the construction of 111 towers at PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional RU III Plaju. EVM is applied to assess project execution efficiency through two key indicators: the Cost Performance Index (CPI) and the Schedule Performance Index (SPI). The data used include primary data from field observations and documentation, and secondary data such as S-curves, bar charts, and progress graphs. The analysis shows an average CPI of 1.1111, indicating that the project was cost-efficient and did not exceed the budget. However, the average SPI of 0.6688 reveals a significant schedule delay, particularly from weeks 2 to 15. Time performance improved in the final stage, with the SPI exceeding 1 in week 16. Delays were primarily caused by design revisions, construction errors, unfavorable site conditions, and extreme weather that disrupted activities. This evaluation is expected to serve as a reference for future projects of similar scale, contributing to improved cost and time efficiency.
