MODEL INVENTORI PADA BARANG FARMASI YANG DETERIORATING DENGAN TINGKAT PERMINTAAN POLINOMIAL DERAJAT EMPAT YANG MEMPERTIMBANGKAN TINGKAT PENYIMPANAN
In this study, an inventory model of pharmaceutical goods that deteriorates or damage to pharmaceutical goods that occurs due to the length of time the goods are stored with a fourth-degree polynomial demand rate is formulated. In the optimal solution, the inventory time at zero (t_1^* ) is 0.478763 and the cycle length (T_1^* ) is 0.698110 with an average minimum total cost ((TC) ̅ ) of $119.867 per cycle which is solved by WolframAlpha software. Sensitivity analysis to changes in values resulted in different (TC) ̅ values for all parameters. The increase in the fourth-degree polynomial function variable at the initial demand level (a) results in a decreased value of t_1^* and T_1^* The increase in the constant fourth-degree polynomial function variable at the demand level (b) results in an increase in the values of t_1^* and T_1^*. The increase in the cost of each item damage (D_c ) results in a decreased value of t_1^* and T_1^*. At a constant damage rate (θ)results in fluctuating t_1^* and T_1^* values. An increase in storage costs (h) results in a fluctuating t_1^* value and a fixed T_1^* value. The increase in the cost of shortages (s) results in a decrease in an increase in the value of t_1^* and〖 T〗_1^*.
