One of the provinces that has a large contribution in oil palm production in Indonesia is South Sumatra province, especially in Musi Banyuasin district. One of the largest palm oil producing villages in Musi Banyuasin district is in Keluang sub-district, namely Tegal Mulyo village. There are 2 types of oil palm farmers in Tegal Mulyo village, namely plasma oil palm farmers and independent oil palm farmers. The production of plasma oil palm farms in Tegal Mulyo Village is highly dependent on the work productivity of the labor force. The objectives of this study are (1) to analyze the allocation of labor on plasma oil palm farming activities, outside plasma oil palm farming, and non-farming, (2) to analyze the level of labor productivity, and (3) to analyze the factors that affect labor productivity. This research was conducted in Tegal Mulyo Village, Keluang Subdistrict, Musi Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra using the survey method. The data used are primary data and secondary data with sampling method using purposive sampling. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the allocation of labor time on plasma oil palm farms uses 164,66 HOK/year, the allocation of farm labor time outside oil palm uses 316,79 HOK/year, while the allocation of non-farm labor time uses 1.217,79 HOK/year. Labor productivity is 1,079 kg/person/day.Variables that have a significant effect on labor productivity are the following.
