ANALISIS KEBIJAKAN LUAR NEGERI KOLOMBIA MELALUI ESTATUTO TEMPORAL DE PROTECCIÓN PARA MIGRANTES VENEZOLANOS (ETPV) PADA TAHUN 2021
This study aims to analyze Colombia's foreign policy implemented through the Estatuto Temporal de Protección para Migrantes Venezolanos (ETPV) in 2021. ETPV is a policy issued by Colombia to provide protection for Venezuelan migrants fleeing due to the political, social, and economic crises in their country. This research adopts Alexander Wendt's National Interest theory to analyze how this policy reflects Colombia's national interests in four main aspects: physical survival, autonomy, economic well-being, and collective self-esteem. The results show that the ETPV policy is not only a humanitarian policy but also a strategy to manage the migration crisis that could threaten Colombia's social, economic, and political stability. Through this policy, Colombia strengthens its sovereignty, boosts economic well-being through migrant integration, and projects itself as a responsible regional actor.
