KONTROL DIAGENESIS TERHADAP POROSITAS PADA POTENSI RESERVOIR BATUGAMPING ANGGOTA BATUGAMPING FORMASI TAPAK CEKUNGAN BANYUMAS, DAERAH DARMAKRADENAN, JAWA TENGAH
The Darmakradenan area, Banyumas Regency, Central Java, is part of the Banyumas Basin, which is deposited in a back-arc basin behind a magmatic arc. The Tapak Formation limestone in this area was formed during the peak of Java's tectonic activity, which caused regional uplift and northward shifting of the volcanic arc, transforming the depositional environment into a barrier reef. This study aims to analyse diagenesis and the implications of limestone porosity as a potential reservoir through several research methods, such as petrographic analysis, diagenesis, and map modelling, as well as porosity measurements using ImageJ software. The results of the study indicate that the limestone underwent diagenesis phases including microbial micritisation, compaction, cementation, neomorphism, and dissolution, with the stages of eogenesis (initial deposition), mesogenesis (burial), and telogenesis (uplift). The identified diagenetic environments include marine phreatic, burial, meteoric phreatic, meteoric vadose, and meteoric karst. Limestone porosity ranges from 9% to 22% (poor to very good), with low values due to the dominance of cementation and dissolution that close the pores, as well as the influence of pressure and temperature during post-depositional tectonic processes.
