ANALISIS KERAWANAN BANJIR MENGGUNAKAN METODE WEIGHTED OVERLAY DAERAH TANJUNG BARU, OGAN KOMERING ULU, SUMATERA SELATAN
Tanjung Baru area, Ogan Komering Ulu, South Sumatra Province has high rainfall which can be a contributing factor to flooding. One of the factors causing flooding is the limited ability of the soil to absorb water and can inhibit the movement of water in the soil. This research analyzes flood vulnerability in Tanjung Baru, Ogan Komering Ulu, using the Weighted Overlay method and the soil permeability test (Falling Head). Parameters such as slope, soil type, rainfall, land cover, and river buffer were processed with ArcGIS. Results show the area is dominated by gentle slopes (3-7%) and low permeability Orthic Acrisols soils (10-410-4 cm/s), with high rainfall (2501- 3000 mm/year) increasing flood risk. The vulnerability map classifies the Batu Putih and Lubuk Leban areas as Very Vulnerable. Mitigations such as improved drainage and afforestation are recommended.
