At the Final Disposal Site (TPA) 2 Karya Jaya, Kertapati District, Palembang City, most parents have shown awareness of the importance of Early Childhood Education (ECE). This awareness arises due to external encouragement, particularly from the Satu Amal Indonesia Foundation, which facilitates free non-formal education through PAUD Ceria. Many parents are motivated to enroll their children in PAUD due to their own past experiences and the children's willingness to attend school. Despite limited financial capacity, these parents strive to provide material support for their children's education.Parents whose children attend PAUD Ceria also gain knowledge about early childhood education, parenting, and other relevant insights through regular parent meetings held every three months. However, there are still some parents who lack sufficient awareness, partly because their understanding of the importance of education has not yet developed. Some still perceive PAUD as merely a place for play, without recognizing its educational value. Contributing factors such as low parental education, limited economic resources, and lack of information and access to PAUD services remain major obstacles to increasing community participation.
