RANCANG BANGUN MINIATUR SMART GREENHOUSE
Modern agriculture demands innovative solutions to address the challenges of climate change and limited land availability. One such solution is the application of Internet of Things (IoT) technology in the Smart Greenhouse system. This study aims to design and develop a Miniature Smart Greenhouse using the NodeMCU ESP32 microcontroller, equipped with a temperature sensor, LED Grow Light, and fan actuators. The methods used include hardware design, software development, and comprehensive system testing. The results show that the system successfully controls lighting and temperature based on pre-programmed logic, with data recorded every 5 seconds. However, the lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.) cultivation trial yielded uneven growth and results, with some plants failing to thrive, likely due to suboptimal growing media conditions. Overall, the system functioned as intended, although further evaluation is needed to ensure consistent plant growth success.
