This research is based on the importance of utilizing potential animal feed ingredients such as king grass combined with lamtoro to meet the nutritional needs of livestock. The use of silage as a forage preservation method is a solution in overcoming feed shortages during the dry season. In addition, innovative MOSI (Modified Silo) techniques were developed to improve the efficiency and quality of silage. This study aimed was to determine the fiber fraction content in the fermentation process of king grass silage combined with lamtoro. This research was conducted from October to December 2024 in the Experimental Cage Laboratory of Animal Husbandry Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University and analyzed in the Animal Nutrition and Food Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University. The design used in this study was a complete randomized design (CRD) with 3 replicates. Each treatment used in this study was P0 (100% King Grass), P1 (60% King Grass: 40% Lamtoro), P2 (70% King Grass: 30% Lamtoro), P3 (80% King Grass: 20% Lamtoro). The parameters observed were NDF (Neutral Detergent Fiber), ADF (Acid Detergent Fiber), Hemicellulose, Cellulose and Lignin which were analyzed by variance analysis (ANOVA) with Duncan's Multiple range test (DMRT) based on the program (Using SPSS, 25). The results showed that fresh silage with fermented silage combination of King Grass and Lamtoro can reduce the value of NDF content from (57.42%) to (55.72%); ADF from (41.33%) to (40.53%); Hemicellulose from (16.09%) to (15.18%); Lignin from (9.40%) to (9.20%) and increase the value of Cellulose content from (21.96%) to (22.15%) with the treatment of 60% King Grass and 40% Lamtoro. Keyword : Fiber Fraction, King Grass, Lamtoro, Modified Silo, Silages
