This research aims to determine the influence of foreign debt, foreign exchange reserves, FDI, trade openness on the development of the rupiah exchange rate against the dollar in palm oil producing countries in the ASEAN region. The type of data used in this research is secondary data, namely time series. Secondary data taken started from 2000 to 2021. Secondary data was obtained by researchers from related website publications, books, journals and others. The research results show that foreign debt has a positive and significant influence on the dollar exchange rate, foreign direct investment has a positive and significant influence on the dollar exchange rate, foreign exchange reserves have a positive and insignificant influence on the dollar exchange rate and trade openness has a positive and significant influence to the dollar exchange rate.
