STRATEGI MEDIA RELATIONS SEQARA COMMUNICATIONS DALAM MENCIPTAKAN PUBLISITAS PADA GRAND LAUNCHING SHOWROOM SANWACOMPANY INDONESIA
This study discusses the Media Relations strategy to create publicity used by one of the PR consultants in Jakarta, PT Segara Mitra Komunika (SEQARA Communications) in the grand launching of the sanwacompany Indonesia showroom in June 2023. This research aims to find out the media relations strategy used by SEQARA Communications according to Frank Jefkins' theory. This research method is qualitative which is conducted through in-depth interviews with the SEQARA Communications team and the journalist, observation, and documentation studies. This study found that the media relations strategy carried out by SEQARA Communications for the grand launching of the sanwacompany Indonesia showroom successfully created publicity, where SEQARA Communications emphasized several media relations strategies, namely By Serving the Media, By Establishing a Reputation for Reliability, By Supplying a Good Copy, By Cooperations In Providing Materials, By Providing Verification Facilities, and By Building Personal Relationships with the Media.
