Regional expenditure is an important instrument for a region. Regional expenditure is used to finance regional needs in the context of regional development, supporting government activities and providing public facilities for the community. This research aims to analyze the influence of General Allocation Funds, Special Allocation Funds and regional tax revenues on regional expenditure in urban areas in South Sumatera in 2014-2023. The data used is secondary data sourced from the website of the Directorate General of Financial Balance, in the form of data on General Allocation Funds, Special Allocation Funds, regional taxes and regional expenditure in billions of rupiah. The analysis technique used is panel data regression with the Common Effect model. The research results show that General Allocation Funds and regional tax revenues have a significant positive effect on regional expenditure in urban areas (Palembang City, Banyuasin Regency, Ogan Ilir Regency and Ogan Komering Ilir Regency) in South Sumatera. Meanwhile, the Special Allocation Fund does not have a significant effect on regional expenditure in urban areas in South Sumatera in 2014-2023.
