The increasing use of portland concrete, reaching 6 billion tons per year and will increase every year, geopolymer concrete has become an alternative in reducing the use of Portland concrete. There are various types of fibers that are commonly used as concrete mixtures, one of which is coconut fiber, but in terms of strength, artificial fibers have their own advantages over natural fibers. Natural fibers, such as coconut fiber, tend to be cheaper than artificial fibers and the use of coconut fiber can be maximized if coconut fiber is added to geopolymer concrete. In this test, the optimum addition of coconut fiber fiber to the geopolymer concrete mixture which can increase the value of the compressive strength of concrete is in the mixture with a fiber percentage variation of 0.5% at 28 days, namely 61.266 MPa or an increase of 13.966% when compared to concrete without coconut fiber fiber, In testing the optimum flexural strength value obtained was by adding 1% variation in the percentage of coconut fiber fiber at the age of 28 days, where the flexural strength result was 6.799 MPa or an increase of 73.93% from geopolymer concrete without coconut fiber with The length of the fiber used is 3 cm. The flexural strength and compressive strength values of geopolymer concrete that has been mixed with fiber are inversely proportional to the increase in the percentage of coconut fiber added. Keywords: geopolymer, coconut fiber, fiber, fly ash
