HUBUNGAN FLEKSIBILITAS PSIKOLOGIS DENGAN RESILIENSI AKADEMIK PADA SISWA DI SMA MUHAMMADIYAH 1 PALEMBANG
This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlational method. The population in this study includes 722 students with a sample of 257 students determined using the Slovin formula. The sampling technique applied is Simple Random Sampling. The instruments used in this study are psychological flexibility scales and academic resilience scales. The data analysis technique used was Pearson Product Moment correlation. The results of the analysis showed that the level of psychological flexibility was in the moderate category with a percentage of 42% (108 students), while the level of academic resilience was also in the moderate category with a percentage of 45% (116 students). The findings from the data analysis show that the correlation coefficient obtained (r_calculated) rxy = 0.693 with a r_table value of 0.122, which means r_(calculated) > r_table (0.693 > 0.122), so it can be concluded that there is a significant positive relationship between psychological flexibility and academic resilience. This means that the higher the psychological flexibility possessed by students, the higher their level of academic resilience. Based on the findings and discussion presented, psychological flexibility enables students to cope with academic pressure without attempting to avoid it. With the ability to adapt to various academic challenges without overreacting negatively, they have the opportunity to build higher academic resilience
